T-VAC 1

The ‘T-VAC 1’ range of units (manufactured between 2016 - 19) are powerful, compact and offered in 3 chassis types to best suit the users requirements.

Capable of excavating most types of ground (wet or dry) by utilising optional high pressure water and/or compressed air.

Its small footprint allows access into those space limiting streets and along busy roads.

Idea for the T-VAC Static

Originally the T-Vac was designed for Scottish Water in 2016 as a solution to an ongoing issue – they needed a Vacuum Excavation unit that suited their needs. The inital decision was made to allow the same T-Vac to be either trailer or static mounted.

Lightweight but Robust

At 1500 kg, the T-VAC static offers great weight distribution across the chassis. The mix of steel and aluminium laser cut panels keep the important equipment safe and body parts away.

Easy to Mobilise

With a tare weight of 1500 kg, the T-VAC static unit can either be transported to site using a flat bed truck or trailer.

Exterior Design

The T-VAC’s design allows easy corporate colours and decals to be presented.

Debris Skip & Tipping

A large hinged debris door and inclined skip with PE lined base. Choose between a 0.6m³ or 1.0m³ size debris skip.

Cleaning the Filters

Couldn’t be easier. The T-VAC's design allows quick, almost dust free clean-off. The filters can also be quickly removed for power washing.

Easy conversion

The static chassis allows it to be effortlessly swapped from trailer to truck mounted depending on your requirements.

E-Stops

Located both sides of the unit for quick and easy reach. Umbilical E-Stop is also an option.

Lighting

Fully adjustable rear working LED spot lights assist during those dark months or night working.

A central roof mounted amber LED is highly visible from all angles.

Non-Conductive Excavation

The excavation tooling is constructed from a mix of aluminium and PE plastic. This provides a degree of protection from electric shock hazards.

Zero HAVS

All the VAC-EX Tooling is vibration tested with HAVI®. Contact us for more information.

Hose Inlet Size

Utilising a 150mm / 6” inlet the T-VAC has industry leading power to size ratio. This inlet can also be reduced down to 125mm / 5", 100mm / 4" & 75mm / 3" if required.

Rail Ballast

Handles granite Rail Ballast with ease.

Dry Excavation

Handles gravels, dust, mud, ballast with ease.

Hydro-Excavation

Handles slurry and water with ease. We recommend our top-inlet & porthole system for dedicated, long term usage.

Clays

The T-VAC can handle clayey ground but there are lots of variables which can make it difficult. Contact us to discuss your options.

Depths

Whilst most excavations are in the region of 1.5m. On occasions, the T-VAC hose has been operated at 8m deep.

Efficiency

Whilst power is an important requirement, we feel it is important to use it efficiently. Average users do not exceed 30 litres / day.

Support Arm

An option to assist with the manual handling of the Vac Hose.

HP Water / Hydro-Excavation

An option to vacuum excavate with HP water or compressed air, offering the operator better versatility.

Compressed AIR

A must have option for those who don't have vehicle mounted compressors and want to utilise the AIR-EX lance for dry air excavation.

6 KV Electric

An option which allows additional functionality such as, additional work lighting, pipe fusion, tooling etc.

AIR-EX lance

The AIR-EX® is the industry leading tool for ground decompaction and clearance of spoil from underground assets. It enables safe, effective, stress free excavation around buried fibre optics, gas, water or electric.

Dump-Ex

An option which both improves the off road capabilities and extends the range and functionality of the T-VAC.

Top inlet & Porthole

Utilised for extensive or prolonged hydro-excavating or connecting alternative debris skips.

Filter Blaster

Allows for safe operation and handling of compressed air whilst cleaning the filters.

Top Hatch

Allows quick & easy access into the debris tank for inspection & clean out.
