An interesting opportunity has arisen to work in the bespoke industry building vacuum excavation equipment.

This new position is based at our Thorne facilities. 

The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, as well as having the ability to multi-task due to the nature of the work in a fast-moving design manufacture business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard. You will also be able and willing to work on hydraulic systems, pumps, general mechanical work and other manufacturing machinery. There is a large amount of development on offer and the successful candidate will be able to broaden their skills.

Duties include are not limited to:

Building and construction of vacuum excavation machinery, ensuring machine safety standards are kept to the highest level.

• With understanding of general production environment Health and Safety
• Willingness to learn and progress

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Required licenses / certifications / education:

• Secondary education
• NVQ in Mechanical Engineering an advantage
• Full driving license an advantage
• Fork lift licence an advantage
