Following the success of the T-VAC 1 tracked unit and the requirement to upgrade to an EPA Tier 4 / Stage V engine, we decided to continue with the T-VAC product, introduce further improvements and equipment whilst keeping to a similar footprint.
T-VAC 2 track is still one of the lightest and powerful Vacuum Excavation units in its class. The robust chassis still incorporates the popular forklift lifting pockets.
IP 65, fully proportional remote-control system offering better safety and productivity. It enables the operation of the T-VAC 2 from safer grounds with better vantage points, and at reduced levels of vibration.
With an operating weight of 2880 kg (specification dependent) and a combined trailer and T-VAC 2 weight of 3450 kg it is still light enough to be towed utilising most 4x4 vehicles.
Quality, European manufactured, proportional driven, anti-vibration tracks allows the T-VAC 2 to offer excellent off-road capabilities to access hard to reach areas.
IP67 stainless steel protected electrical enclosure and control panel incorporating high-quality Deutsch connectors utilised throughout the wiring loom.
Couldn’t be easier. The T-VAC 2 design allows quick, almost dust free clean-off. The filters can also be quickly removed for power washing.
Production, efficiency and how the operator interacts with the T-VAC 2 has been an important factor throughout the design process. The AIR-EX holder is just one feature of many we have introduced.
Three E-Stops, conveniently located each side and rear of the T-VAC 2 for quick and easy reach.
Internal safety device which only allows the debris skip to be tipped when the T-VAC 2 is within safe operational angle limits.
Internal safety device within the remote control which only allows the remote control to be operated for a limited time outside of safe operational angle limits before shutting down.
The T-VAC 2 is fitted with an array of features as standard which indicate the current operational fuction:
- White noise 'tracking' alarm
- Rear LED operational panel
- Front 'tracking' LED light
These protect the operator (and others) by immediately shutting down the machine as soon as the opening of the engine doors is detected. These offer a certified safety solution for guard monitoring.
Fully adjustable rear working LED spot lights assist during those dark months or night working.
Roof mounted amber LED is highly visible from all angles.
Integral skip prop is present to provide a mechanical solution for keeping the debris skip fully open – keeping you safe and makes servicing or inspecting much easier.
Isolator provides a simple and effective way to disconnect a battery from equipment for safety, security or servicing.
The connector allows for safe charging or jump starting the battery.
The excavation tooling is constructed from a mix of aluminium and PE plastic. This provides protection from electric shock hazards.
All the VAC-EX Ltd tooling is vibration tested with HAVI®. Contact us for more information.
If there was ever a perfect material for the T-VAC 2, rail ballast comes very close. Handles rail ballast with ease.
Handles gravels, dust, mud, ballast with ease whilst filtering the air before exhausting to atmosphere.
Handles slurries, water and mud with ease. A 100mm gate valve allows for a controlled release. We recommend our top-inlet & porthole system for dedicated more long term usage.
The T-VAC 2 can handle clayey ground. There are lots of variables which can make it difficult. Contact us to discuss your options.
With a 180° working radius and adjustable working height, this is an excellent option to assist with the manual handling of the 150mm / 6” Vac Hose.
We recommend the Indespension 10' x 5'6" Alumax plant trailer. This is an industry leading trailer with a payload of 2910kg and gross vehicle weight of 3500kg. We have adapted it to suit the T-VAC 2 unit.
100mm / 4" tank outlet can provide a controlled outlet for water or slurries when carrying out hydro-excavation or over pumping works.
An option to hydro-excavate by utilising the on-board HP water to break-up and agitate soils offers the operator better versatility when encountering very tough clayey conditions.
An option to Vacuum Excavate by utilising the on-board compressed air to break up and agitate soils. This prevents the need to mobilise additional compressed air equipment.
An option which allows additional functionality, such as, pipe fusion, additional work lighting, tooling etc.
An option which locates between the excavation and T-VAC 2 unit. This intermediate auxiliary tank enables materials to be transported away from the work site.
